Shopping Cart Script
This script allows customers to your Web site to collect items in a virtual shopping cart over multiple products Web pages without losing the items ordered. Your cart keeps track of what the shopper has ordered with a Shopper I.D (SID). Shoppers may view the contents of their shopping cart at any time and may add or delete items as needed. The program automatically calculates the subtotal, sales tax, shipping charges, and overall total. When a visitor decides to checkout, the order information including the buyer's name, address, and billing instruction is e-mailed to your order department (or whomever you choose) and a receipt is sent to the shopper via e-mail. Below is an example of a client using this script.

1. The customer views the Web site and determines if they want to order a product.

2. The customer chooses an item to order.

3. The item is then placed in the shopping cart. Now the customer may either return to do more shopping or place the order.

4. When the customer decides to place the order, they complete the order form and submits it to the business for processing.
